Talk about starting the year off with a bang! The Décor n More team were super excited to kick off 2011 at the Diversity Wedding & Special Events Show in January. The event, held at the Citrus Heights Community Center, was the first diversity wedding show of its kind in the Sacramento area. Brides (and grooms) from near and far came out to the show to meet with planners, florists, DJs, photographers, and other vendors for their special day. Hundreds of vendors participated, including yours truly. Here’s a sneak peak of our Indian inspired tablescape, showcasing Spring 2011’s hottest color, Rust ..check it out!
Our ethnic tablescape was inspired by the fun, whimsical, contemporary yet ethnically-rooted bride who thinks outside the box and is definitely not afraid of color! We captured her essence by using non-traditional décor elements such as ethnic jewelry, from necklaces to bangles, and wicker balls in vibrant colors. Along with silk saree-esque hot pink napkins and colorful floral arrangements, our tablescape was definitely a hit with our brides!
